Strengthen your immune system against colds, flu and infection

Why modern immune systems are weaker

There is strong evidence that three factors have weakened modern innate immune systems:

(1) The inappropriate use of antibiotics and the accompanying rise of antibiotic resistance     MORE

The other two factors are less obvious:

(2) The fact that the diets of the majority of people provide an inadequate intake of many key nutrients causing what is known as Type B malnutrition      MORE

(3) The unnaturally sterile environment we live in nowadays, which has resulted in much less challenge to the innate immune system – leaving it under-prepared.   MORE

Over-use of antibiotics leads to antibiotic resistance, which is an example of natural selection in action.

Over-sanitisation of our environment creates little challenge to our immune systems, leaving them less active and less able to neutralise threats.
